I started in on a Quickie Q200 project in 1984. Since I was also building myself a house and working on a Q2 for someone else, I took on partners, Larry Dugal and Merv Keller, from our EAA chapter. We worked on the fuselage in my shop and worked on the wings in the basement of Larry’s house in China.

Around 1987 Merv moved to So. Portland. Work became more and more sporadic. Before installing the wings the project could be more readily moved, so we decided to sell it.
